Been using Steve for more than 20 years. Look no further if you want a trader who will turn up on time and do an excellent job at a reasonable price. Book in advance cos he is in demand!

Disgusting service. Do not use. Booked 6 weeks in advanced and he never arrived. Messaged 15 minutes after missed appointment , made an excuse couldn’t find parking. Never attempted to call me. Booked day off. Waited all day wasting a days holiday. Then emailed me lies he had tried to find parking near my house multiple times during the but never rang me once. Barefaced lie. Asked for another date to service chimney and was ignored with no reply.It’s now November and I cannot find another chimney sweep until January when winter has passed. Do not use this unreliable person. Find someone who will turn up when they say they will and communicate with you better and not tell lies they couldn’t find parking with no attempt to even pick up the phone to the customer.

Called to arrange a sweep, was told that potentially he could do the following Friday but would need to check his diary and get back to me that evening. Messaged him the following day - no reply, called several times after that but no answer. Have since gone elsewhere and will be using them going forwards.

Stewart’s service is excellent: more than prompt, efficient, good customer relations and totally straightforward. Much appreciated.
